Blog Moved

Please see new blog at Magicalmagpie as this blog not allowing me to edit.
The products that I have used are Prima flowers, those darling little hydrangeas are from the Essentials range No.9.  They are a little smaller than the average small hydrangea of previous ranges.  I have added Stickles to the turquoise one and Tim Holtz distress glitter to the brown.  The sizzix die cut is Lace Hearts with Flourishes.
Paper is MME Penny Lane.  MS butterfly punch, and the pearls are from Thailand when we went there for a holiday 3 years ago..  I am afraid I cant remember the Copic pens I have used, but if you need to know a certain colour, I am sure I can help out with that.

If there is anyone out there who can help me with my blog I would be most appreciative.  It seems that I do not have the button that enables you to change the look of your blog, the 'customise' button.  What should I do?  I really dont want to have to start a new blog, because this name; Magicalmagpie is my username on many sites going back to about 2003.  What to do, what to do!

Thanks for looking

Tilda with Ladybug

This is another of my favourites, (oh, gosh, yes, they are all my favourites! However butterflies and ladybugs are special favourites of mine.  Tilda with Ladybug (here in  South Africa we call them ladybirds)

I just adore these two Magnolias from the Shabby Chic Collection. The fence and background is also Shabby Chic. The patterned paper is K& Co, flowers Prima. Coloured in with my Copics.
Both images are mounted on foam sticky bits. TFL. Enjoy your weekend.

I have just received 9 new Maggies, I am going to be busy this weekend. I can really recommend Funky Kits based in Scotland, their service is amazing. I received my parcel from them in a week, I usually wait about 3 weeks for parcels to arrive from the States. When I got my slip from the PO I thought it was for an order placed at the beginning of March, which in my estimation would be here around now, but no it was their order. Thanks guys.

This stamp is the Cuddley Horse from Magnolia. I think its great to have a stock of Baby Cards so I will be making a few of the same sort of card.
Papers used are MME, ribbon American Crafts. Scalloped Heart is Spellbinders, which I believe has been discontinued. Glad I have one ;). Buttons are MM, Cardstock is always Bazzill! My trusty old Sewing Machine, an Elna has been my companion for 29years and still going strong. A part of me is missing when shes not here!
I have also used Stickles for the glitter, the colour is Arctic Ice.
thanks for taking a peek today.
This is Tilda with Sunflower. The paper is MME which is a favourite of mine. Copics are quite new to me and I am just loving using them. I am one of those people who start a collection and am only happy when its complete, so my quest for Copics has begun. I actually dont really use them until I have enough colours to start off with, because I hate thinking: "Oh I wish I had this colour, this other ones not quite right" Let me know if you are the same, because I would hate to think I am alone!

Sorry about the quality of the photo here, and cant retake the photo because the camera is not here today.
This is Shabby Chic Tilda Sitting, another one of my favourites! I have more Magnolias on the way, and I am sitting on a heap of ants just waiting for them to arrive. Knowing my luck they will all arrive at the same time and I just wont know where to start!
I will be posting a couple of cards everyday so please be sure to pop by often.
Have super day
Gail

This is a tag that I made for a friends gift.
Right I have taken photos, edited them and now lets see............

This is my first completed Magnolia Card. I just love butterflies, so this was one of my first purchases. As I said yesterday to someone who said they were going to find it hard to part with their card, I will often make duplicates in this case I made four cards almost all exactly the same except for small adjustments in the glitter, or mounting and stitching. Hope you like it!

I have promised myself that I will get my Blog up and running by the end of this month. So lets see; ................ I managed to add a background to my blog, now how do I get that pink away? I do not have a customise button on my blogger account. I guess I will just have to battle my way through.

I am going to attempt to post a card that I made recently. So, I will go and take the photos, edit them and post them! Lets see how it goes.................

Okay, so I have had this blog for ages now, but have never gotten further than that! Today I decided to put my first few words in. What prompted me? My friend from over the seas, Camille McLelland. Thanks Cam, I do need a shove every now and again.
Today I decided to stay at home, Mark has gone to Durban for a week of meetings. I was supposed to go with, but will be going through with him tomorrow, and will stay there for the rest of the week. The reason I stayed behind, was that I need to go to gym. I have just started a programme, and because of the hecticness of the past week, have only been to one session! So before I leave it for another week, I decided that I just have to go today.
Last week, I did the cardio work out. Well, it sure told me a lot of things:
1. I nearly died.................
2. I thought I was going to die
3. I am not in any shape of fitness.
My motivation for this programme is that at 45 I have decided that I need to take hold of my physical side of my being, and get it into shape. Its really the only area of my life that needs work, and judging from the workout last week; a lot of it!
A start is all that it needs, so its done.
I have seen two amazing results on other people just lately. One being a friend of about the same age, who is looking like a teenager! No, really, she is looking gorgeous. And then the other, is my very own daughter, Paige. She too is looking stunning, and I just have to give it a try. I've tried the cutting down on eating thing, but really that does nothing for me, because my life is too sedentary, I sit all day. I need to be more energised, so a workout, is the thing, that I think is going to change my life.
I dont expect it to be easy at first, but am hoping that by some miracle, those endorphines that everyone talks about will kick in and make me want to keep on going back! Please, please please kick in soon endorphines!
